Studio Sale and an Older and Wiser Me
Birthday month brings musings...
This month marks a significant birthday for me, and I am kicking it off with a small works studio sale! It is live on my freshly built website, which I am kind of proud of. You can find the website here and a direct link to the sale here.
I feel sentimental about aging. There’s something beautiful about getting a bit older and wiser.
In the last couple of years, I purposefully led myself down a path to challenge myself to be more generous and open-minded toward myself and others. I have had good days and bad days around this idea, but I feel like changing my mindset is working. The best part of myself wants to embrace all the good things that fill my life, not just the big things like a new home or a beautiful partner but all the small things that living in a lush world offers us: fresh produce from the farm stand, a sparkly cocktail, just sitting with a good book, or getting a big black-and-white umbrella-which totally makes me happy!
Paying attention to and enjoying all the small things makes a difference.
What we surround ourselves with matters. We bring art and experiences into our orbit for a reason.

When I title my work, the words are always full of emotion because I know that…
…life and art are emotional pursuits.
I wanted the feeling I had while I was creating this painting above to stay. I felt relaxed and at ease. It’s one of my favorites. I am making space in the new studio for more work, so I do hope you enjoy this sale!
