A little bit more about me

I am a romantic by nature with a strong sense of wanderlust and curiosity.

Becoming curious and asking myself what and why has been a hallmark of my creative process and is what keeps me fully engaged as a painter now. Painting turned out to be the intellectual and spiritual conversation I have always aspired to have with my art.

Every time my husband, artist Michael Rich, and I travel to foreign countries, to museums, and discuss the art we’ve seen, it has fueled our creative process and practice enormously. I felt that these conversations were SO GOOD that they should be taken a step further, shared, and expanded on, so that’s where The Smart Creative comes in.
